WHO IS DAVID TOMBLIN?
David Tomblin is the founder and CEO of Highgrove Holdings LLC. Highgrove owns hundreds of properties across Milwaukee, mostly on the North Side.
Fun fact: Tomblin calls Highgrove a “woman and minority owned company”
Tomblin’s tenants live in untenable conditions: caving ceilings, lead paint, plumbing and electrical problems, lack of heating, mold, and pests. Approximately 40% of Tomblin’s properties are boarded up, staining our neighborhoods.
Tomblin has the most orders for lead abatement in Milwaukee among landlords.
His properties are serious health risks to children & families.
Meanwhile, Tomblin has promised his wealthy, private equity investors 20-25% profit margins. Some of those investors have sued him for fraud. Lenders have sued him and foreclosed on some of his properties for not paying his debts, and he owes hundreds of thousands of dollars in back taxes to the City of Milwaukee.
